Hancock, NH
Oh, how I love the first
sight of the sun,
red rays beaming
through the trees.
Lingering sounds of
summer insects fill
the cool air,
as a woodpecker
tap, ta, tap, tap taps
hard at work.
Dozens of dried black eyed-susans,
petals long gone,
leaving dark centers
standing solo in the field.
Quiet, gentle, meandering day,
present with such abundance,
feeling all of the Well Keepers.
Bless you...
Michele
Thanks for holding the Well Keepers so dearly. Barbara
